This is our most asked question: What happens if it rains? We get it, it's not ideal! However, the farm looks so beautiful - rain or shine! With all of that in mind, we think these are wedding worthy ideas to prepare you for a rainy wedding day!
1. Don't Panic!
Regardless of the weather, we're going to go above and beyond to make sure your wedding is perfect! As you navigate through any last minute changes, we're right there with you to guide you through the process!
2. Keep up with the forecast
Virginia can be 80 and sunny one day and snowing the next. Don't get too caught up in the forecast way before your wedding day. We start seriously talking about rain prep when the 10 day forecast shows up on The Weather Channel website.
3. Rethink the Ceremony
There are few options on rainy days: your ceremony can be relocated into the barn or we can order a tent to cover the original location. Either way, our in-house Day of Coordinator is an incredible resource when navigating through these options!
4. Add clear umbrellas to the list
Clear umbrellas make great favors, add a fun element to your photos, and aren't too distracting! Our favorites are these from Amazon - they come in packs of 12!
5. Change out those heels for some cute rain boots
If you know me, you know that I'm trekking around the farm in my boots all of the time. There's just something about Belle's Pleasure that makes you want to jump in some puddles and de-stress. If rain is in the forecast, swing by your favorite store and grab some cute rain boots! While you're at it, grab some for your bridesmaids!!
